the closer it gets to graduation, the more I see who my friends are. it amazes me how people can be. I am beginning to accept that I only had some friends for school. been used by some, talked about by people I thought were real, & basically now it’s time. time to be realistic. we were never friends and I am blessed to know that. time too move on. past undergraduate fakeness & seasonal friends. at least I won’t worry anymore & I’ve honestly given up on caring.
friends…how many of us have them?
Please go here & comment!!! Thanks it’s for a grade!!!
for change to come, we can’t jump on the bandwagon. we can’t just act like trayvon was the only one because he is the face of a people today. children, teens, babies. we die every die and our lives are taken for granted. every day should be a day to remember Emmett Till, the Jena 6, the 4 girls in Birmingham, Dr. King Jr, & Trayvon Martin. but we can’t forget about those who didn’t get national exposure. the ones whose story will never be heard. the mothers who will never receive justice. pray for those who deaths have been in vain while we as a people have rolled back decades. this problem will never stop and we will be attacked. the time to react is not after tragedy, but to prevent it. try to taste the rainbow & think about trayvon. we are a country of many different people. differs colors and flavors and if America took time to taste the rainbow, things like this would not occur.
